Well, I tried Pilates this weekend for the first time. I had a little mixed in with the step class I took at Lakeland, but this was the first time I tried a whole class.
“Tried” is the operative word — It was about an hour long, and there were things I had no trouble with, things I could sort of do and things I couldn’t do at all. Still, I kept at it, and the instructor made a point of seeing me after class and telling me she was impressed with my effort. That felt good — a lot better than most of the exercises.
So I’m hoping to keep doing it. In addition, I did a lot of cardio and weight work on Saturday and Sunday. I have to figure out a way to have time for weight work during the week, especially if I can only work out downtown.
